I think from 10am to 2 or 3 they have specials and everyday specials. The food will always be good no matter what time you go. They close at 9 if I'm correct. We usually eat lunch. Hope that helps.
I'm not sure, I haven't noticed it on the menu
Yes they do
Not that I know of but the prices are pretty good anyway.
Water on the rocks!
Yes they make their own tortillas, they have both corn and flour.
No idea... But the food is good
No they don't.
Visit from California, this place is as close to authentic Ca. Mexican food I have found here. Loved the sopes!
Wonderful friendly service and good food. Enjoy!!
Excellent authentic options and americanized options. Great salsas and agua frescas
This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but man do they have some great food. Come here for the tacos. They do them a la carte and they have a bunch of traditional fillings as well as unique meats. They have stuff like chicken and beef, but if you're feeling more adventurous they have cow tongue, intestine, and stomach pouch as well. This is how you know they're good though because they're all prepared in the traditional open face Mexican style with onions and cilantro. They also give you two bottles of sauce with your chips that are designed to give your tacos extra flavor. The green sauce is traditional Mexican style and it's great too (beware though it has a slight spicy kick). The other items on the menu look decent as well, but the real draw of this place is the tacos. Try them with pastor meat. It's a type of Mexican Shwarma and it's amazing!
Luci was a great server. Amazing food. Very affordable.
Riqusimo!!!😍 Great service and food👌
Food is amazing and as authentic as it gets!! Been coming three years +, my favorite Taqueria there is!
Had a giant steak and chicken burrito. It was amazing.
This place is true authentic Mexican food. I highly recommend the tacos. Carnitas or cachete (cheek), both are very delicious.
This place has a good variety of Mexican food. The prices are fair and the service is excellent. They are fast and tasty
We stopped for supper here while passing through Augusta. We ate here after consulting Trip Advisor for the top area “Mexican” restaurants Don’t let the simple store front mislead. The functional decor doesn’t detract from the fresh, flavorful food. Our wait person was absolutely delightful and was very helpful in our first visit. This is good “Tex-Mex” at expected prices.
By far NOT the best Mexican in Augusta. Slow service, burrito was taco shell (super small), cold food. definitely would not eat here again.
Oh my, stopped in on our way home from Myrtle Beach. We wanted some good Mexican food so googled restaurants and read reviews. Fast friendly service as soon as we opened the door. Once we ordered, it was delivered quickly, hot and it was amazingly good. So happy we found this place. Thanks for those who take time to write reviews. It really helps folks like us traveling.
Wow, was my second visit and was waited on just as quickly as I walked in. Enjoyed the music and the atmosphere was inviting. The food was to die for. I ordered something I never tried before and can't remember the name added picture of it. It was very tasty. Loved it and will visit soon again
So, the Mexican food here is already above average as far as Mexican restaurants go, especially given the fact we are in Georgia. But on top of that this place has a slew of unique burrito combinations that are amazing. Even if you don't like Mexican food you can probably find something to enjoy here, absolutely recommend!
I was really impressed with their homemade salsas. Very fast and friendly service. The 🌮 were outstanding. I will definitely be back.
The menu is fairly extensive. I believe the food is very authentic. I had a Chile Relleno and a chicken burrito with beans and rice. Both the relleno and burrito were tasty. I wasn't super thrilled by the red suce that they put on both of them. The beans and rice were both good and tasty. My friend and daughter both had tacos and enjoyed them very much. The service was pretty good.I don't thnk they have alcohol, but not sure. We weren't offered any beer or margaritas. Overall we all enjoyed the experience and the food and I would reccomend.
There's a nice atmosphere here. It's clean, looks nice, and has friendly staff with quick service. The tacos al pastor weren't the best I've ever had, but weren't bad and had a decent price. I'll definitely be back to try more.
3 staff members on duty all eating together with their work gloves on, while packaging your food and salsa. Then would come to our table and drop our food and drinks off without changing gloves or putting their masks fully on. Then they seat a party of 12 right in the middle of the dining room not even an arms length away from our booth. I was baffled. We got up immediately, paid, and left. Do better. This is a pandemic. Disgusting.
Best tacos in Augusta hands down and better than most I have had (and I have eaten my share of tacos all across the US and Mexico)
So I really wanted this place to be great but it was not. I have eaten there 3 different times and each time I've hoped my experience was better. I have had authentic mexican food growing up all my life, it's a part of who I am and I was expecting way more from this restaurant. My first experience was dine in and the food was cold and the steak was dry and chewy. My second experience was also dine in, I wanted to give it another chance and the chicken was very bland and rice was mushy. Ok fast forward a year later I wanted to order the basics...TACOS!! Last night I ordered empanadas and 3 steak tacos. The empanadas was soggy and did not taste freshly made. Again the steak on the tacos were dry and chewy. I really was rooting for it to be better because everyone/restaurant has an off day or two but no I've given it all the chances I could.
El Patron order disaster!!!Placed an order online worth$71.69 to include a tip. When my husband got home after picking up the order there were 2 empanadas missing. I called to ask for a refund for just the empanadas, not only did I not get the refund they called me a liar. The man there told me he looked at a camera and the items were in my bag. It was only $7 not a big issue until he pretty much said I was lying. I love their food but will never go back again or recommend them to anyone.
Looked up the reviews to this place before coming since I was visiting Augusta & had a taste for Mexican. It had the best around so gave it a try. BEST DECISION EVER! The food was amazing. The service was fast and friendly. Our questions were answered, our food was delivered soon after ordering, and we weren't rushed to leave after finishing. Great authentic menu in both Spanish and English.
Carnitas tacos are the best. Love this place until I just can't eat another taco.
Great establishment here in Augusta, great authentic Mexican food with really good enchiladas and great salsa. Makes me feel like I took a trip into Mexico.
Taqueria El Patron does not serve alcohol and doesn't particularly have the best Mexican food I have eaten. To me eating the culinary delights from other cultures should be enjoyed by an equally delightful adult beverage, seeing as they dont serve alcohol I would not recommend a visit.
Best Mexican food we have had, we are from Conroe TX, visiting daughter in Fort Gordon she had asked for home cooking but could not bring that so we chose this place decided to try and thank God we did BEST MEXICAN FOOD and Orchata too. I'm very pick about Mexican food and Orchata this reminded us all of my mother in law's cooking from the salsas to the food. My daughter was happy we came here definitely coming here again when we visit her again.
Great food great service hand made tortillas!! Love it
Food was really good, got the burrito and it was really nicely flavored. My only complaint is that the main salsa is quite cilantro forward but they give you 3 different salsas so its nbd. Really fast service too!
Food is very authentic and delicious. Meal came out very quickly and the staff was friendly and prompt. Wasn’t very busy when I came in but when a lot of call in orders came through they got the folks their order quickly. Would definitely recommend eating here.
Good job on the tacos! Flavorful meat, nice variety in Salsas, warm chips, and very friendly service.
We finally found a good Mexican restaurant in Augusta. Great Tacos and salsas. Fresh ingredients and homemade corn tortillas.
A couple friends and myself were hungry for some Mexican cuisine and brought up Google Maps. We found this place with a 4.6 star rating and started driving that way! It is totally authentic to the decor and Spanish in the menu. There are three types of salsa to choose from: traditional, salsa verde, and a chipotle style. Each was delightful. The food was delivered to the table within five minutes of putting in the order. And the food was delicious!
The prices are fair, the service is good and the food is amazing! This has easily become a favorite place for tacos here in Augusta!
I loved the atmosphere, the food and the service. It has a colorful inside decor. The food is very flavorful and reasonably priced. We had the chicken fajitas and they gave you large portions. It was nice to see it come out steaming and it had allot of sides around the meal. The sever was quite kind and did check on us to make sure we enjoyed the meal. This is a go to place for Mexican food.
I ordered the steak tacos and a chorizo dope. Everything was delicious! They give you three salsa choices for your chips and they were all good. We had great service!
Good food at a good price. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Attentive servers. Love the homemade hot sauce and the tacos filled with a wide variety of meats. Give the fish a try. It's a great deal.
Great food Mexico city Mexico style. Not Texmex style. If you want real Mexican food look no further this is the place. Fyi the beef tongue tacos are amazing.
The service and food were great! The chicken was very tender and flavorful. The rice was very yummy, and three delicious salsas were offered with the chips. We will definitely be returning.
Get the fish tacos and thank me later!
Some of the best food you can get in Augusta. They offer fruit water and rotate the flavors every once in a while. Never got anything I did not like, everything is delicious but the carnitas is my favorite.
Good service and the employees are friendly. I wouldn’t say the food is the best but it’s definitely not bad.
Good food. Good service. Generous portions. Excellent variety of horchata and cold drinks. A little pricey but worth it.
After watching a Taco documentary on Netflix I wanted authentic Tacos. I sampled 5 different tacos on Taco Tuesday from this place and they were Delicious and fulfilling. I could only eat 4. My new favorite taco spot!
It's ok, not the greatest but not necessarily bad either. I will start with the good. The tortillas were hand made which is definitely a plus. However, the agua fresca seemed more like the powder you mix in with water rather than real agua fresca. Plus I ordered the shrimp fajitas and it didnt seem like I got very much shrimp. My wife didnt seem to get much meat in her tacos either. All in all it was ok though, it tasted good. Just not super impressed.
Discovered this gem while waiting to get my nails done next door. Food was fresh and good staff were friendly and smiling. Place was super clean as staff were seen sweeping and mopping pretty much after each customer lol. Highly recommend this restaurant.
My kids were able to custom order their meals and they were very happy. My wife and I ordered a Burrito El Patron with Steak and a Two Taco Platter. The Burrito was a good size but had a lot of filler items with barely any steak. The Barbacoa Taco was very good and the meat was moist. The Pastor Taco was dry and a bit on the chewy side. All in all, the flavors were good but the execution was unimpressive.
I've had a lot of authentic Mexican food in my life, even home cooked meals while stationed at WA and AZ, this isn't authentic. The chicken burrito, chicken quesadilla, were bland. The rice was mushy and tasted like ketchup sauce. I had the Fried Ice Cream and it was just a scoop of vanilla ice cream with some chocolate syrup drippings over it. The ice cream wasn't crunchy. My food was delivered so I couldn't do anything about it and when I called the restaurant no one answered. After all the great reviews I am disappointed in my food and review, maybe it was an off day.
Just seems the most authentic...granted... I haven't been to EVERY Mexican restaurant. I see what I assume to be actual Mexican ppl eating here every time I visit. The tacos are great and taco Tuesday here is awesome....
Food was terrible. No flavor! Way over priced. Service was great if you could flag someone down. Will not be going back!
